There are some telling graphs at this little article about how the Government (through taxes) is squeezing the middle class. The linked articles lay out the argument that the intent is to make the middle class more dependent upon the government, thus converting America from Capitalism to Socialism.
At the very least, look at the two pie chart graphs…
